Manicures are great, but the high cost isn't that great. What if we tell you that you can decorate your nails at a much lower price? Well, You don't need to go to a salon ever again, thanks to the gel nail polish stickers that are super easy to apply and make your nails look so adorable like you just had a manicure. Also, these come in a wide range of patterns giving you endless options to choose from. Once you have applied fancy nail stickers on your nails, you can make them last for up to 14 days or more if you take care of them. You can make them last longer by paying attention to the little things mentioned below.

Apply stickers in a right way

You know there may be one method to apply gel nail stickers, but people can still mess up. To make sure that you are doing it right, make sure that you follow the following steps.

  • Always prep your nails before you apply the nail stickers. Clean your nails properly, leaving no residue of dirt or polish.
  • Place your nail sticker exactly over your nail bed.
  • Sometimes polish strips can be longer than your nails. File them downwards to tear off the extra strip.

Choose the right brand

It is very important that you choose the right nail stickers; some premium brands sell high-quality gel polish stickers that come with a tough adhesive. This increases the strength of your stickers, and hence, they last longer.

Avoid heat

Heat is the natural enemy of your nail stickers. The high temperature is known to affect the vinyl, a thing used to make nail wraps. So, make sure your nails don't get anywhere near high temperatures.

Your nails aren’t tools

Remember, your nails aren't your tools, so stop using them as tools. Don't use your nails to open stuff or scratching etc.

Seal the stickers

To seal stickers in, use a topcoat. Apply a coat over the entire nail, making sure the sticker is completely encased, particularly in the corners. This coat should be thin enough to be seen through but not too thin that it does not provide any strength. To give the sticker a little more seal, normally dab a brush over the corners. You can also cure them with LED for 30 seconds or 2 minutes. If you like, make two thin layers if you're having trouble with flooding. Apply wrap, cure, then apply a second coat and cure. If you're new to gel polish, this method works best.

These are some ways how you can make your nail stickers last longer. Follow them and see if it works.
